Kinixtion…Busted

The popular music file sharing site Kinixtion got shut down today. The site hosted links to hundreds of popular indie CDs and videos, but it looks like they took it a step too far and now are under litigation.
What catches me as interesting about this ordeal is the buzz surrounding the site. The site has been operating for over a year and had growing readership, but it has just now generated enough buzz to get recognized by record labels who’s band have album’s accessible on the site.
Eyeball Records has threatened to sue the site defending its band like The Number 12 Looks Like You.
It’s a sad day for many poor music fans on the net. We’ll have to find other places to further or pirating habits.
